Tiffany & Co. celebrates its great heritage as a premier jeweler and diamond authority with the 2010-2011 Blue Book Collection.
The Blue Book Collection of the King of Diamonds highlights the world’s most spectacular and exquisite diamonds and gemstones in settings that shape modern luxury.
The most impressive piece of this year’s collection?
Doubtless, the Tiffany Majestic necklace, a regal design inspired by the splendor of royal jewels.
More than a year to procure the more than 300 pear-shaped and round brilliant stones and over 700 hours to create the necklace itself. Each stone was hand cut and set in diamond florets that surround a 30.31-carat, E color, internally flawless detachable diamond drop. The platinum mountings were individually crafted and discreetly linked to create a flexible setting that sparkles with every movement.
But fancy vivid color diamonds, Kashmir sapphire and tanzanite, sparkle with equal intensity in the other pieces of jewelry inspired by Jean Schlumberger’s original drawings or based on the Art Deco period or other historical designs!
Though varied in design, each piece in the Tiffany & Co. Blue Book Collection shares a tradition of excellence that is unique among the world’s elite.
