The exclusive 2012 Audi R8 GT Spyder has finally been launched and its price unveiled.
With just 333 units to be built worldwide, and only 50 of those bound for the U.S., the hand-built high-performance roadster is priced at 210 000 $ (about 160 115 €) plus a 1 200 $ (approximately 915 €) deliver fee.
Powered by a 5.2-liter V-10 engine rated at 560 horsepower, good for 3.8-second 0-60 mph runs, a top speed of 197 mph, and wearing some fierce race-inspired aerodynamics and styling cues, the R8 GT Spyder is the drop-top sister to the R8 GT coupe.
